The Aim of the Kanun Medical Journal is to inform its readers of ideas, opinions, developments and key issues in medicine and dentistry- clinical, practical and scientific- stimulating interest, debate and discussion amongst physicans and dentists of all disciplines. All papers published in the KMJ are subject to rigorous peer review.

The Kanun Medical Journal is an interdisciplinary, international journal published as the Official Journal of the Association of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany.

The Kanun Medical Journal provides clinicians, scientists and students of medicine and dentistry, publishing original research papers, review articles, book reviews, and letters to the Editor.

Topics covered in the journal include the management of diseases, long-term clinical trials, evaluation of medicine equipment, new experimental techniques, epidemiology health, biomaterials science.
